Connection is Key

Within this project, I was given key words and based off of my word, my objective was to create a situation and and build my design maquette from said word. My word within this project with fire. 

The first steps within building my situation and design process was ideation, how I wanted my words to be depicted throughout the Maquette and presented to my clients. As well as how they objects and furniture that I wanted to work with portrayed to my client's style.

The design I decided to go ahead with was based on a couple that was in their late 40's and experiencing an "empty nest".  They wanted to rekindle the romance they once had and the fire that brought them together before life took ahead of the reigns and they created a family.

Within my design I wanted to create a space for them to not only rekindle their connection prior to having multiple responsibilities but also and area where they can relax and their true inner personalities can be free to represent their fun yet mature personalities.
